“We loved our weekend break at The Globe in Wells next the Sea. Despite the chilly weather we made the most of exploring Wells, walking down to the lifeboat station then along the beach to Holkham Hall for lunch and back. Beautiful place to visit if you like wildlife too, would definitely recommend and the food at The Globe is excellent.”

“Quiet location and walkable to the sandy beach. Within easy distance to Cromer. Friendly staff. The breakfasts were very nice. Also it was nice to have coffee/tea/hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. Water was lovely and hot for shower/bath. ”

“Lovely stay. Superb service especially at breakfast. Very high quality accommodation and lots of nice touches - complimentary gin and tonic in room, fresh coffee, dog treats and poo bags, dressing gowns etc. Staff very friendly and polite. ”

“I was welcomed warmly. The property is well maintained and pleasing to be at. My room was well looked after clean and with Towels and shower products well presented. Food was well priced and the drinks available at the bar were really good, with craft ale available. Parking was easily used and close to the rooms.”

“be aware they advertise that noise from the Bar can go on late, definately the case. Ear plugs good idea. No breakfast, enough Cereal, Milk, OJ and Teabags - thank you. Only 1 en-suite room. 2 x Toilets and a shower room shared by 3 rooms. owners very friendly and helpful. Many thanks Beeny.”

“Staff were superb and food was as excellent as always. Bar furniture looks a little dated and could use a deep clean in places, but very comfortable. Bed was superb and the room excellent. The underfloor heating takes ages to warm the room and as it was very cold, it would have been nicer if it had been turned up a while before arrival. Minor points though. Overall extremely good and we will certainly be back.”

“This hotel is under new management and no longer uses OYO as a booking agent. When we arrived OYO had not sent through our booking - this was not hotels.com's fault. The new management team kindly allowed us to stay at no extra cost. I have contacted hotels.com regarding this and hope they will make sure that this hotel is given as much help as possible. The team are working hard to make this a great place to stay.”

“Owners could not have been more welcoming and accomodating. We stayed here whilst visiting Thrusford Spectacular show. We had a lovely lunch before we we left for the show all plates were empty and everyone enjoyed the meal. Would highly recommend this friendly in for a stay.”

“We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Manor House. It is very spacious and well equipped. This is our second visit to Cley and our first at the Manor House but we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. It is a beautiful area with many walks from the property and great places to eat.”

“A lovely base to explore the area, great location. Lots of info on restaurants and places to visit nearby. A nice complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice little treat. Parking space was fine for our ford eco sport, could see it being a bit tight on some larger vehicles. Thanks for a lovely stay.”
