“Romantic over night stay. Everything was perfect”

“The staff at this hotel was excellent and very hospitable and was the highlight of my experience staying there. They offered complimentary water bottles at check in and had a message on the TV to welcome us when we got to our room. They were attentive and very nice throughout our stay. The room furniture was really nice looking. The desk proved to be the perfect table for my 2 year old to use her coloring books. “I was shocked to find dirty sheets on the bed.When I called reception they offered me a new room which I refused because it would have involved getting dressed, packing and moving at midnight. I asked them to change the sheets and receptionist said they were not responsible for room cleanliness. I reminded them that during a pandemic it particularly irresponsible to ignore basic hygenic protocols. That was not acknowledged so I ended up going down to the frontdesk to get clean sheets and make...

“Would NEVER stay here again! The shower had hair still in it from whoever stayed in the room before me. I payed for early check in thinking I would be able to relax and enjoy my stay and that didn’t happen. 2 different birthday parties where going on at the same time! The pool was so filthy and dirty and had 30 kids in it. Me and my children couldn’t even get in it. There were no clean towels in the pool area. “Juice machine out of order. Could not contact hotel for shuttle from the airport. Men's restroom out of TP. No attempt to apologize that we had to spend $30 for an Uber from the Airport to the Hotel. We won't be back.”

“I complained to staff at the front desk that the room conditions was horrible, Floors very dirty, blood in the blanket, mold on the baseboard of the sink, tub very dirty with a dirty stains around it. Vomit all on the walls . When i told staff they pointed fingers at me accusing me of doing it. Cursing me out , saying that i wasn't gonn3get my deposit back and threatened to call law inforcement on me. And verbally threatened me . I would Never come to this place again it is a hole in the wall.”

“Since i paid for the room thru Expedia and there was an issue with not only my check in but there was no working hot water, i would expect Expedia to reimburse me for my one night stay ($79) instead of offering me $20 OneKey cash points. Red Roof has offered me their own points (over 6K) for the inconvenience. I don't travel much at all as I can't afford it. I would expect better. ”

“Great room size, plenty of space for luggage and to relax, with a generous bed and amenities to match. Staff/Reception were very friendly and courteous and made us feel very welcome. Parking was also a huge bonus with plenty of spaces all day round. Will definitely keep here in mind for next time! Thanks Wyndham Avon! ”
