“The property is good to stay if you just need a quick nights rest. It’s affordable. The area outside was clean and plenty of free parking. The room was a regular size room. No iron or ironing board or hairdryer which is usually in all of the rooms I’ve stayed in. The bathroom door towards the bottom had a few splashes of blood. “The hotel was nice, check in was very easy and staff were friendly. I did have an issue with the connecting room, as the guests were very inconsiderate and forgot they were not at home but rather a hotel where people had to work the next day. “Great hotel, kids loved the poolside room. Pool was huge, hot tub was nice but not real hot. Workout room was good- all the things you need for a quick workout and it was cool inside not hot. Room was small with 2 beds not a ton of room but it worked. Beds not too comfy but we managed. Check in staff lady was super sweet. No breakfast and bar closed early. “This is our third time staying here. The property is charming and unique. It is located near the heart of the city and so much can be reached by walking down Franklin St. and the adjacent neighborhoods staring at the rich collection of antique homes. Nice common areas, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of coffee help the quests meet and chat. Check-in is easy. Off street parking that is in a locked and gated lot behind the building is a big plus. We will stay again. ”

“Lovely building in a not so great area, unfortunately didn’t feel safe walking around. Lots of homeless, people constantly begging for money, people very out of it and so much pot smoking (I know this is legal here but we as Europeans aren’t used to it) The Roost itself is so nice the rooms are huge and spotless clean. Unfortunately we didn’t have the lovely big windows like the pictures only 2 small windows high up that couldn’t see out of and no windows in the bedroom, kitchen or bathrooms....

“Struttura veramente triste. Offre una sensazione di usurato e leggermente sporco. Camera ok (a parte una macchia sulla moquette vicino al letto che mi conferma l'idea di poco pulito). La stanza non è accogliente come di solito sono le stanze di hotel. Un po' "disordinata": ad esempio i cavi della lampada e del telefono sono "appesi" un po' alla meglio e aggrovigliati sotto il comodino. Mi ricorda tanto il triste pensionato studentesco ai tempi dell'università. Sconsigliato.”
