“Beds/ pillows comfortable. No fridge in room. Parking in front of room. Constructing a pool. Food in restaurant was good. Everything is new condition. Gates are closed at night for added security with a guard. Would stay here again. No problems. ”

“This is a gem of a quiet, accommodation spot with a nice sandy beach, small pool, a good restaurant and nice swimming in the ocean out front. The accommodation huts are perfect, the beds are decent and we felt as if we had our own private resort for some enjoyed R&R. It’s a short drive away from Placencia but well worth it for this experience. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, hammocks and large beach area. I definitely recommend this place!! ”

“Mariposa Beach Resort is a little slice of heaven in Placencia. We booked a tree house for 4 nights at Mariposa Beach Resort not really doing a lot of research but WOW, I am so glad we booked here. “The room was advertised as ocean view. You could barely see the pool, let alone the ocean from the actual room. The appliances were not in working condition. They did not provide any hand soap in the bathrooms. The staff was not friendly. The rooms were clean. The breakfast and dinner were very expensive in comparison to the other resort restaurants in the area. ”

“This is a very nice small boutique hotel near the beach. The only compliant I had was about communication with their staff. I had spoken twice with their staff to request help with scheduling a taxi to the airport and was told it was confirmed. However on the day of my departure there was none scheduled. The staff on duty didn't know anything about it. I had to wait for a taxi to be called and this could have caused me to miss my flight. ”
