“Room was nice. Very creeky floorboards which I suppose can’t be helped in an old building. We had a lovely view of a roof.”

“Great hotel with lots of activities for the kids. Gym was huge with lots of equipment and classes. We had a family suite which was huge with separate bedrooms for kids and adults. Only small let downs were the shower pressure being terrible, hotel was super hot even though it wasn’t a warm day, but the did provide us with fans. Breakfast had a great selection but gluten free options ran out quickly and weren’t replaced.”

“Modern Clean Pleasant. Rooms very comfortable. Food most excellent. Staff first class It was my birthday so there were one or two personal touches too!!”

“Bit of a rabbit warren and a long way to our room from reception up a number of short flights of stairs awkward for people of 82 with a small dog and suitcases”

“Bathroom is very neglected. Dirty around the shower screen and the bath panel was rotten. Rest of the room was clean ”

“Staff were amazing on reception and a shout out to the male manager(?) next door at Beefeater! Excellent service! Room was sufficient for our needs the only thing that would be great would be a smart tv in the room!”

“The hotel is just in front of the beach, which is good. Unfortunately the hotel is old, the rooms and bathrooms need to be refreshed. I was there in the beginning of June, and the room was humid and I freezed all night long. Not a pleaseant stay.”

“A really good location to stop overnight and very happy with the room. Breakfast was delivered in a hamper box outside our room and was rather disappointing. No egg/cold meats option. The main option was oats with fruit. We ordered with banana and strawberry. Tiny amount of strawberry and the banana slices were dried and chewy. But the evening meal was good honest pub grub.”
