“The property was beautiful and in excellent shape the room was clean and quiet. Air was controlled by me which was great! The staff was very friendly and professional. Also very helpful as I could not figure out something and within 5 minutes they were there to help. The only thing I was surprised by was no tv streaming service and old fashioned what is on is what you can watch. Breakfast was good and plentiful.”

“Told me I could check in early but when I arrived my room wasn’t ready, pool was close and green, the pool room smelled like rotten garbage, the fireplace didn’t work, a house keeper came into my room after I checked in”

“I forgot to tell them our room had no water pressure. It was literally a tiny sprinkler coming out. I almost took the shower head off myself and tried to clean it out but I didn’t have time. It was clean, but looks like it’s being renovated. It could definitely be a little better. It was a cheap stay but you definitely saw the rust on the bathroom doors, the over flow sink would go all over the toilet paper, some of the lights didn’t work. But it wasn’t a terrible stay. “Elevator was broken upon arrival. Breakfast was ok. Very basic was disappointed in very little choices. Barely hot water and no water pressure.”

“The room was very good and the pool was great but the exterior was rather worn with broken concrete all over . We have stayed in the Residence Inn in Chapel Hill and the outside is very attractive.”

“The staff was nice and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! Overall, our two hotel rooms did not look or feel dirty. The couch in our room had some stains and it was kind of gross looking. A vacuum needs run in all corners, especially in the bathroom. Some of the sheets and towels had gross stains on them. The air conditioners in our rooms worked well enough but were very loud, kicking on and off, even when the fan was turned to always run on low....

“Beautiful hotel with clean, pet friendly rooms. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Quite a few items were not available - yogurt, juices, oatmeal, peanut butter. Hotel is fairly remote from other businesses and not within walking distance of restaurants.”

“Pleasant and helpful staff throughout a 12-night stay on family business (funeral, etc.). Very good bed and linens, consistently good breakfast every day, clean bathroom and shower (more towel bars/hooks would be nice), quiet most of the time. Convenient parking. Public areas could be cleaner. A guest washer & drier would be nice, but there's a good 24-hour laundromat nearby. Pleased to see fire sprinklers everywhere, a safety feature every hotel & motel should have. Definitely a no-frills...

“The hot tub falsely advertised on the listing was not available. The place was quite unkempt, but nothing bothered me more than the staff. If you are a person of color, DO NOT BOOK this hotel.”

“Room was in terrible condition. Broken/cracked mirror, significant wall damage, some areas of the walls were not even painted, ripped screen on window, stained furniture, and the over all smell in the hotel was something we can’t even explain. Key cards stopped working 4 hours before check out. Bags of garbage sat in the hallways on the 2nd floor all day and into the evening. If it hadn’t been our son’s graduation and all hotels in the area weren’t booked we would have walked out. This room...
