“I booked the room for two nights. I work overnights just wanted to come n go to bed when I get off only to find out my room was cancelled without any notice and given to someone else because I didn’t check in the night before. The whole point of paying for two nights was to make sure I had a room to go to at 8am..the staff was rude and didn’t care at all when I came to check in.”

“The staff was very welcoming and available. We enjoyed a drink at the bar later in the evening. The bartender ensured we were happy with our drinks! The breakfast room was a long way from our room and there was a problem with the decaf coffee - a minor inconvenience. The pool was even further away but, we ended up with no extra time to swim anyway. Our rooms were comfortable and clean.”

“This was a nice place for our stay and we were able to upgrade to a suite since my old dog couldn't walk up the stairs. When he took himself for a walk, the staff were very kind and even tried to keep him as a new member of the housekeeping crew. The location was close to food options for dinner. Though we didn't use the lounge, I really appreciated that it was there and would have been a nice way to relax after a long day of travel. “My room was super clean. For an older motel it was painted and fresh and new looking and I live parking right in front of my door. The property had baskets of flowers at each door which were stunning. A wonderful touch and the pricing was extremely good considering being the the lakes area of NW Iowa. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again when I'm in the area.”

“Looked like they were in the process of renovating when we were staying there but it was overall a well maintained place. The staff was friendly and helpful with check in.”

“Our only complaint was the limited toilet paper. When we arrived to the motel, all we had was about a fourth of a roll left and no stock of extras. However, when a staff member asked if we needed anything the next morning, she was very quick to give us a new roll. We enjoyed the Roku that was provided in the room. Parking was adequate and right outside our motel room. The location of the motel was conveniently right next to Casey’s and just a quick walk down the street from the town amenities....

“The property is not well maintained. There was what appeared to be a large blood stain on the comforter, an old donut under the heater, and broken toilet seat. The property overall is very worn and dirty. The staff were polite. But I would not recommend staying here.”

“They charge for ESA animals a 30$ fee per day. Only hotel I’ve ever stayed at in 6 years to ever charge me a fee. Room was clean. Tv channels only worked half the time. Jets in hot tub were broken. The pool was warm though that was nice. And the east building walls were thin could hear above us and next door.”

“The hair dryer did not work. The body wash was empty in the shower and were given a refill, but had to figure out how to use it.”
