“Il personale gentilissimo, la camera confortevole, un ambiente casalingo a due passi dall’aeroporto (nonostante questo molto silenzioso).”

“Guesthouse room was ok, shared bathroom was good. Location was in a small town in the middle of nowhere, Kind of like the place for truck stops. Breakfast was included but we were leaving before it was available in the morning so the host brought it to us the night before (nice!). Check-in was a bit challenging as Reception was not manned. You have to go to adjacent restaurant and ask to be checked in. The instructions tells you to contact them beforehand but the phone is never answered....

“We were notified by the Grindavik Guesthouse 1 day prior to our arrival that the town of Grindavik was closed due to volcanic activity. Even though the town was closed, the Grindavik Guesthouse refused to refund payment. ”

“Favorite place I’ve stayed in so far in Isafjordur. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast has a nice variety and location was quiet. I would stay here again!”
