“We had a great anniversary weekend trip. Walking distance from restaurants. We had to walk a few blocks to get to a usable beach due to houses falling in ocean but wasn’t an issue. Buxton is a pretty beach town.”

“Great little get away…..quaint area with an old school, laid back, un-commercialized beach vibe. Close to Hatteras Lighthouse with beautiful beach within walking distance. Definitely would stay again!”

“We booked this last minute at the height of the busy season with moderate expectations and we were disappointed. The property was built in 1960 and this unit has recently been remodeled. However, there are visible signs of mildew and mold as well as strong mildew smell. Upon arrival we were completely overwhelmed with the smell of fragrance, removed five plug-in scent generators, opened all the windows we could and turned all the fans on high.
