“The perfect place to live out any dreams of being in Rurouni Kenshin. In fact they shot one scene from the movie (a bridge where Sanoske and Kenshin duel) two or three buildings down. The ryokan serves a traditional breakfast and dinner, they make your futon for you, and lend you a yukata. In front of the place is a little river in the center of a historical district (Kurashiki Binkan). The staff are very friendly and accommodating.”
