“I had a very nice stay at the Open Arms Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was first class with a view over the village green and very comfortable. The lounge area with the open fire is lovely and relaxing being able to have a pre- dinner drink and review the menu. It was a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning again in the very near future.”

“Booked a room, no email 24hrs before with information. Turned up with the manager, who was luckily on site, not knowing a single thing about us arriving. Got put in a room not big enough for us. Owner claimed we hadnt booked the right room, which wasnt true. The manger was lovely and helpful but the owner wasnt. Room TV was smashed so couldnt be used. This is more like a hostel, bathrooms arent private but shared. Wouldn't recommend and definitely wont be returning. Not worth the money.”

“The staff really make this place go. It is a little quirky and parking can be an issue depending on your arrival. But this is the perfect place to stay in Anstruther. The restaurant is exceptional, but the staff really made our stay. Super nice and understanding.”

Il posto è fantastico: Renata e David sono stati dei perfetti padroni di casa e ci hanno accolto con entusiasmo e cortesia! A dieci minuti di strada da St Andrews e a 15 dalle meravigliose cittadine della costa del Fife. Un vero paradiso! Non solo consigliato, ma super stra consigliato!!! ”

“Piccolo hotel di 6 camere tutte al secondo piano senza ascensore, con pub al piano terra. Grazioso ristorante, wifi ottimo, parcheggio per 4 auto di fronte all'hotel e presenza di numerosi posti auto nel raggio di 100 metri. Camera piccolina ma ben tenuta, bagno di giuste dimensioni e ben curato. Ottima la posizione per visitare Edimburgo, infatti il bus ferma di fronte all'hotel e la stazione è a circa 1 km con tanti posti auto. In 20 minuti si arriva in centro città. ”
