“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. “This was a nice, cozy property located on a quiet street. The home was well equipped with all the essential items in the kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable. The only recommendations I would offer are to consider adding motion lights on the stairs, as it was quite dark when going up at night, and to have the cleaners check that all lightbulbs are working prior to guest arrival. “Exactly as advertised. Simple, no-frills, pet friendly beach house in a very nice neighborhood. When we arrived the water had been turned off (for the winter?). We messaged the host and she had the water co there in 30 mins! Great host, very responsive. Big TV. Stack W/D is great to have. Everything works. We spent 5 nights and would stay there again for sure.”
