Start your next adventure at Winston’s View Cabin. Our picturesque 3-bedroom cabin is with incredible views of the Ozark Mountains in Buffalo River Country. Our carefully designed mountain retreat is just what you need for your outdoor getaway while still sleeping in luxury. We are central to many of the adventures to be found in the Upper Buffalo River area. Just 10 miles to Jasper, Arkansas. Perfect for family fun, couples, friend groups or team building groups that are looking to float the Buffalo River, Rock Climb or Hike all the amazing trails this area has to offer. We are 15 minutes south of Jasper and 1 hour from Ponca where you can see the elk or rent your kayaks and canoes from one of the amazing outfitters.
Located on 15 private acres with room for your crew to sprawl out and enjoy the fresh mountain air or star gazing. There is plenty of local wildlife that come close to the cabin for your enjoyment.
Winston’s View is fully equipped to be your home-away from home. The kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances including a coffeemaker and Keurig. Enjoy your morning coffee from the back deck with its spectacular view or watch the wildlife from the front. We did our very best to stock this kitchen with everything needed for entertaining. Plenty of dishes, cutlery, utensils, pots/pans, baking dishes etc. There are some basic spices available.
Our main wheelchair accessible level features a vaulted ceiling, enjoy natural light and incredible views in our open floor plan living room while gathering around the natural stone wood burning fireplace. The living room also features a 50-inch satellite TV, or you are welcome to stream via Wi-Fi.(A note about Wi-Fi: As we are in a rural area the Wi-Fi speeds may not be what you are used to if you are from a more urban area. Be area of multiple devices on at once) However with so much do and see hopefully you can unplug and enjoy everything we have to offer!!
After hiking or floating the Buffalo enjoy some quiet time outside around the firepit or sitting and enjoying magnificent sunsets from the back deck. There are multiple seating areas on the front porch and back deck. We offer a gas grill and all the utensils you need to have the perfect cookout!
With three bedrooms, a loft and 3.5 bathrooms, there is space to comfortably accommodate 12 people. The primary master bedroom is on the main level and offers a King bed and amazing views along with access to the deck. The main floor of Winston’s View is Wheelchair accessible offering a wheelchair accessible shower with a fold down seat and handheld shower nozzle.
On the second level is the loft with a Queen hide-a-bed and Roku tv. The delightful second bedroom with two Queen beds. These areas share a large bathroom with a large shower stall.
The bottom level includes a full bath with a shower/tub combination and the charming third bedroom with two full size beds. Satellite TV and access to the private patio where you can enjoy the porch swing and gliders while checking out the same view as the upstairs deck or if you get lucky you may see some deer in the field below.
As a guest you will have access to the full- size laundry room with a new Speedqueen Washer and Dryer. We have plenty of detergent and dryer sheets available for your use.
We bought this cabin in 2021 and it has been furnished with new furniture, mattresses and linens. We worked hard to make all the furnishing functional yet FUN! All the bedrooms have attractive linens and striking splashes of color. Enjoy the local art scattered around.
We strive to make your stay as carefree as possible; we offer a travel size shampoo, conditioner and soap in each bathroom. We supply laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent and soap, trash bags, cleaning supplies, paper towels and toilet paper for your stay. There are numerous board games to enjoy or books to read. We also offer outside games for your use such as Corn-hole/Baggo, Badminton, Horseshoes and Ladder-toss.
