Stylish but poor attitude in cleaning person
We stayed at a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 weeks. The location is perfect - just 1 block from the local park, 3 blocks from Trader Joe’s and 4 blocks from bus to Manhattan. The decorations is cool and stylish in the lobby and the apartment itself. The parts that needs improvement is the service attitude of the cleaning person, and the conditions of the garbage / recycling room. Because of our long stay we are entitled to a cleaning service. The lady came when my kids and I were at the apartment. Maybe she didn’t expect us to be around, she was not please to see us. I asked if she would come at another time when we would be out, she said bluntly ‘ No, but you cancel.’ I said ok, please come in, and asked politely if she could remove her outdoor shoes as we have young kids and they are used to no shoes at home. She said her shoes are clean, and she won’t remove them. I explained to her and apologise for the inconvenience, she said she changed her shoes and these are just for indoor. Since she looked into my eyes when she said it, I choose to trust her. 2 days later we met her in the elevator and surely she was wearing the same ‘indoor shoes’ when she walked out of the building to the street after her shift. Also the garbage and recycling bins are all mixed up.
