“Great location for day trips to anywhere in Pembrokeshire, especially Skomer. Overlooking the marina and only 5 minutes walk from a wide selection of good cafes and restaurants, but their own food is good too! Friendly staff.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped but the bed was a little hard for me (like most hotels). Not all rooms have baths but I was able to change at no extra cost. ”

“Obviously a lot of effort has been made by the new owners to create a comfortable and upgraded environment. They are working hard and constantly on what was obviously a worn down building. Looking out from the room the gardens and view is spectacular. The room was large and comfy with great, instant hot water and lovely deep bath. Authentic home cooked curry was delicious.”

“The staff where fantastic - I was stressed as we needed to check-in after they closed, but they greeted us wonderfully and even kept the bar open for a while, so we could relax and have a drink - great service.”

“The staff (Joey) was great, as was the location. The bed are very low, and difficult to get out of if one is older or heavier. The furniture is shabby, and the desk chair broke when I sat on it. The shower is good-sized and has great water pressure. Make sure to leave the switch next to the toilet on (it is a pump for fresh and waste water). “An excellent hideaway place as advertised, also has a cottage for hire or glamping with a local well stocked shop.
Ideal location for all the beaches and attractions.
The morning breakfast was superb, a mix of cereals, fruit, continental style, as well as the full welsh cooked.
The room was everyone you could as for, cosy, relaxing with a lovely en-suite.
I would highly recommend this hotel, though I do want to revisit, so ignore this report.

“It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too.
The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely.
Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle.
We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely.
It was like being in a fairy tale.

“The Lamphey Hall is a great place to stay situated just outside Pembroke.
Upon arrival the staff are friendly and welcome and nothing is an issue.
The room is well presented, comfortable with sky TV. All the amenities are available including coffee/tea and complimentary shampoo and body wash.
There is plenty of off street parking. The bar is a welcoming place to sit and have a quiet drink with the bar friendly bar staff.
Highly recommended.”
