“We were surprised that there was a daily housekeeping service. So rare in most hotels these days. There was a hot breakfast every morning, fresh fruit and yogurt. Good bread options in addition to a waffle maker. The staff were courteous and friendly and even offered a "bereavement discount" (we were there for a funeral). Excellent value and highly recommend.”

“The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. A must is to walk around the acre or so garden. Margaret is a lovely, friendly host. She recommended a decent restaurant just a couple of hundred metres away. I sampled the...
