Very poor stay and horrible service
I will say that my stay was absolutely more difficult than it should’ve been. When first coming into the home, we were greeting by the owner’s chickens in the yard which made it very difficult to drive into.Also there is absolutely no air conditioning which made it difficult to relax. But what made it absolutely horrendous was while being at this residence, I discovered many roaches in places where it shouldn’t have been while trying to relax. I found some in the kitchen, in the bedroom, and also one of my family members was pouring a food item that we gotten only a day ago in the bowl. When discovering this , we got in contact with the owner and instead of dealing with this issue, he ignored it and told us that Hawaii is not for us even though we did not want a house infested with roaches. When explaining this to him, he said he would call the police and cancelled our stay, saying that we broke house rules. He also told us that if we did not leave the property when we had two days left that he will call the police and said we broke the law as well when asking for a refund. I absolutely recommend to anyone to not pick this as a home if you want a relaxing time in Hilo. If you do decide to still pick this place, I hope you be safe .
