“The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...

“I was warmly welcomed to this B&B. It is a beautiful house set in extensive grounds. From my window I had lovely views of the garden and beyond. The room was beautifully decorated and the bedding was soft and comfortable. With the warmth of the welcome and the excellent breakfast I would agree this is an excellent 4* and worthy of its great reviews.”

“Thank you so much Derek and Rena for such a lovely stay! Hamilton House is a warm and welcoming home with large comfortable rooms and an amazing freshly cooked breakfast! The beds were amazing and I slept brilliantly. Very convenient for the Ice Bowl but also for the Train Station and centre of town. It was also really useful to have use of a fridge and microwave in the dining room to heat up an M&S meal at night (and keep my wine chilled!). Will definitely be back and can’t recommend highly...
