“Somehow my phone number got put as a forwarded number to other guests if they had issues. I got 10-20 calls from other guests asking for help within 48-hours after I checked out until the staff corrected the problem. But very scary on how that could even happen. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before.”

“The perfect small town home away from home, and so many wonderful places to check out nearby. The place was thoughtfully decorated, the bed was comfortable, the two nights sleep were incredibly peaceful. Both breakfasts, eggs Benny sandwich on croissant and French toast, were homemade and super fresh. They tasted gourmet and so perfectly seasoned. Kimmie and James were perfect hosts. We almost didn't want to check out our final morning. Can't wait for our next stay.”

“Because we were there on a holiday Monday we assumed the breakfast would be open for weekend hours. We were down at 9:15 and told them that 13 more from our party were coming down. They said they closed breakfast at 9:30. But, the lovely lady in charge of breakfast hustled to add fresh food and set up tables. That was pretty incredible. Some of the clean up staff gave us side eye, but it worked out.”

“My best stay so far in the Waterloo area. Many other options in the same price range are clearly not as good.”

“I booked the hotel based on location. The breakfast was average, not sure if the eggs were powdered eggs. The room was clean. The window screen was broken, luckily it was too early for bugs.”

“There was a prostitute in the hotel room next to me. Men coming to the room every 20 minutes. As a business woman travelling alone it was very unsettling. I did call to complain, they tried to resolve the situation but after the issue continued I requested to move rooms at 11pm. I was appreciative of them being able to accommodate me in a different room.”

“Bed was comfortable/ clean. Room had good air flow and temperature was comfortable. Bathroom set up was nice - sink outside the toilet/shower. My room had a kitchenette (without dishes) which was nice.”

“Overall the renovations made the space feel very fresh, clean and bright. The continental breakfast was standard, but quite good and we appreciated the fresh fruit of bananas and clementines. The included Wi-Fi is fairly slow, however. Good for mobile phone browsing but had difficulties connecting via VPN for work related reasons on laptops. They do offer a parent higher speeds if you are part of their point system, it was not able to test this. Pool area is clean, they did run out of towels as...

“Couldn’t give a better rating because the washroom in our room wasn’t in good shape. The sink drain was extremely slow and at times, water just sat there for a while after use. Gave 3 stars since the staff were kind and the breakfast was pretty decent.”

“I had a really great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall service was excellent. The breakfast was okay and had a decent selection. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.”
