Hotel sulla spiaggia a Kootenay Rockies

“Was a great place to stay”

“This property is hands down one of the best hotel experiences I have had. I hesitate to give it such a good review as I would like to keep this hidden gem a secret. The hotel is very small and intimate. Only 15 rooms (I think). The common area to hang out in is so relaxing and inviting. Cozy wood burning fireplace, complimentary beverages and snacks, game boards, TV, blankets, etc, etc. I would not hesitate to book this place again and can’t wait to go back. It’s also a super easy drive to get...

“Its a beautiful well taken care of hotel.”

“Very impressed with the suite. Great for families and friends wanting to get away for a weekend.”

“Amazing location along the Kicking Horse River and in great proximity to restaurants and pubs.”

“The property was amazing and definitely felt more 5 star than 3 star. Impeccably furnished in an utterly delightful style. We would highly recommend”

“We had an excellent stay on Halloween night. Our first impression upon entering the room was a bit off-putting -- the chair cover is very torn and the curtain is dirty on the bottom and the lining torn a bit too. Later, we found out that the sink (in room 318) wouldn't drain. I wish there was a shower cap. These things didn't affect our stay negatively however. The chair was comfortable, the curtain kept out the light, the sink drained eventually. The doors and furniture are beautiful. The...

“The bed sheets had stains on there.”

“Delightful host. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable.”

“This place is a hidden off season gem. Love the breakfast offerings. Love the common room with a wood burning fireplace that you can use at your leisure. We felt like we had the entire place to ourselves but also had great conversations with other guests that wanted to chat in the common/living room area. Close enough to town and far away enough to feel like you’re in the middle of the mountains. Which you kinda are!”

“A beautiful chalet but the bedroom bathroom was very old and needed repairs. The breakfast was very VERY basic for a B&B. Toast and cereal. The road up to the chalet was an adventure - need 4x4 in heavy snow. For the $100 price it was pretty good but wouldn’t pay more.”

“Stayed here two nights and will stay again if I am ever in the area again. Tom was super helpful in finding place to go, very good host. It was quite and cozy, beds were comfy (a bit firm but that's my preference). Thank you for a great stay!”
