“We passed one day in the annex: a separate building with all the comforts one can expect by a high grade hotel, and all the peculiarity of a traditional Japanese house. They were agreeable, and when language was a barrier, even those who didn't know English, they were fluent enough to understand what you were saying and what you wanted/needed and delivered promptly. While I did attempt to use my limited Japanese, it was just that, limited. Whenever I'm in Kyoto again, I would likely come back to this Inn.”
