“First, the staff was lovely, kind and very helpful. However, the property was very old, not kept up at all, and very far outside of the city. It’s by a beautiful river, but outside of a seating area, there is no place to walk or enjoy it. The property smells of mold (if you are sensitive, you may need to pass). And there was black mold growing on the tub/shower. The breakfast was a beautiful representation of a traditional Japanese start to the day, however, and we were thankful to enjoy it.”

We had questions regarding how to dispose of our garbage and questions one day about no running hot water, there were explanation sheets but 0 personal available which for we had never experienced before. The laundry service in the room was helpful but again we had to use google translate to figure it out because there was usually no one around.”
