Hotel a La Grange

“Hotel needs updated but perfect if you just want to sleep. Bed was very comfy. Rooms were very clean. No smells. Place was very quite. Staff super friendly. Good location by Walmart and a great bar and grill.”

“The dead bolt on the room did not work. Tried to inform staff of it when I left, but no one came to the front desk. Slept with the big chair blocking the door.”

“The microwave did not work. There were loose tiles in the restroom on the floor. The restroom was terrible and not keep up very well, the handles in the shower area were not safe. There were empty soap dispensers which caused hazards when showering. It had a bad patch work on the walls and finished with paint that did not match the original color. Walls were so thin between the rooms you could hear the people in the next room and people talking in the hallway.”

“Clean Towel had wad of black hair inside when opened to use after shower. I’m bald and my wife is a blonde, not ours. Second towel was stained with black marks, but appeared otherwise clean. Traded them in for cleanish towels after realizing they were not fully clean. Floor was so dirty that both my wife and I took a wash cloth to wipe off our feet after shower so as to avoid black marks when we got in bed. “It’s a dirty dump! The pool was gross (bugs, chipped concrete, full trash, and trash in the bushes). The fitness center was a sauna - the air conditioning didn’t work and it was 80 degrees in there according to the thermostat. They said they were having someone come “next week” to fix it. They didn’t even have towels in there. When we checked in, the woman wouldn’t give us an extra blanket - said we could just turn down our AC. “For an advertised non-smoking room, it smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was stained and in disrepair. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat and not enough of them. It was cheap and convenient but I’d probably not stay there again. Towels were clean and having a fridge and microwave was nice for such a cheap room. Lack of deadbolts and safety bar was unsettling. “Definitely needs improvement, for being new the lobby was dirty, boxes right by the desk. Take your own towels, the ones provided are thin and small. The AC was very loud and the blinds let a lot of light in. Being the one of the only options for families traveling for the baseball fields near by they should take better care of the property”
