Magia sul Lago di San Cristobal

Location, Location, Location! Molte persone si sentono questa struttura è simile a quella di essere su una casa galleggiante. Il ponte spaziosa è direttamente sopra l'acqua del lago di San Cristobal. È possibile ascoltare lo sciabordio delle onde, come si legge o mangiare sul ponte anteriore bella. Le maestose montagne che circondano il lago sono verdi in estate, pioppo rivestito in autunno, e innevati in inverno.

La zona è ben conosciuta per le sue cinque quattordicimila picchi piedi della montagna. Escursioni sui sentieri circostanti seguirà ruscelli, cascate, e le valli piene di fiori di campo. C'è anche il meraviglioso Loop alpino che prende jeep e quattro ruote attraverso la divisione continentale all'alta paese paese di pastori di montagna e tundra. Silverton e città fantasma, come Animas Forks sono anche lungo questo percorso.

Naturalmente i pescatori che questo è il paradiso. Il lago e tutti i corsi d'acqua circostanti offrono meraviglioso pesca. Nel settembre Lake City ha un vino e Music Festival. In inverno ci sono abbondanti le racchette da neve, sci di fondo, escursioni in motoslitta, e l'arrampicata su ghiaccio. La bellezza e la serenità dei boschi in questo momento offrono esperienze da ricordare. Questo è il periodo dell'anno che cattura la quiete della stagione. Rilassarsi con un libro dal fuoco è anche una festa di benvenuto. Questa casa offre una pausa dal solito business del mondo.

This home was in the most incredible spot. What a view ! Nicely furnished and very comfortable. The only negative would be the master shower. Needs some updating and love. Otherwise it was perfect.

The location is great for hiking and off-roading, just off the start of the Alpine Loop. The views off the deck are awesome. We enjoyed sitting out there in the late afternoons after a day hiking. Owner proactively let us know of a couple of minor issues and was quick to respond when needed. Easy to find and short drive into town. Bed in main bedroom is very soft. Too soft for us but this is personal preference. Place is starting to show age with decor and with several appliances not working or not working well. Was not dirty but wasn’t particularly clean either.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and we think it is great, right on the lake, easy access to town. We spent all of both days we were there fishing on the lake spending time with the granddaughters. I will stay there anytime I come to Lake City.

The cabin was very well stocked with everything that we needed. The owner is right next door and very happy to answer questions and tell you the best places to go. We had been to Lake City twice before and love it. There are so many trails to explore and wildlife to see.

I surprised my wife by bringing her here for our 25th anniversary and she absolutely loved it and we’re already trying to plan our trip back. My only regret is not staying longer. I recommend at least a week. We loved that the deck is right on the water and the house has everything you need to feel at home just bring your clothes and food!

We love Lake City in the winter; we have the place all to ourselves and our stay here was wonderful. Fantastic location with outstanding views, beautiful and clean space. Excellent MB with great sitting area with breathtaking views. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at this property once before and loved it so much that we couldn't wait to come back. We love to kayak and it is so convenient to have the lake right there out the back door. The view and scenery are absolutely gorgeous and we will never tire of staying in this beautiful, comfortable condo!

Do not hesitate to book this townhome! The view is absolutely beautiful and the townhome is gorgeous. Everything you would need will be here and check in is a breeze. Such a peaceful area and the owner is very quick to respond if you should have any questions. The beds are very comfortable and has tasteful decor.

No complaints...the place was spotless, beds were comfy, we had everything we needed. Did some fishing every day right off the deck. Views were exactly like the listing showed...incredible. We can't wait to go back next year!

This property is everything described in listing and more. Everything was clean and very well stocked. We lacked for nothing. My favorite place was the deck overlooking the beautiful lake nestled between the mountains. Kathryn was a great hostess. We would certainly return.

Pro: Beautiful setting on the lake Can fish from the deck Good towels in bathroom A tray with condiments in the kitchen and coffee filters and laundry detergent provided Chairs in the master bedroom very comfortable Hair dryers provided along with shampoo, conditioner and soap. Cons: Dim lighting over dining table (it was hard to play cards) Light out in 2nd bedroom so really dark in there. Coffee pot needs cleaning. Very slow. Had to keep the balcony door in the master bedroom locked so it was always a little too warm upstairs when first going to bed. (It does cool off with the open windows but not till late in the night) The couple staying in the extra bedroom thought it was warm also. But they put a fan in the window and another one facing the bed and it got cool as the night wore on. All in all I would recommend staying here. (The cons were not dealbreakers-just minor things.)

Staying right on Lake San Cristobal is truly a treasure. This townhome makes it extra special. In this unit you can fish right from the Trex type dock. The double decks are out-fitted with nice furniture, a grill and beautiful flowers. Inside is well maintained with a ‘cabin’ feel decor. The kitchen is stocked with appropriate pans/utensils/kitchenware. We appreciated the Pendleton blankets to wrap around us as we sat on the deck in the cool(cold) mornings. Bed linens and bath towels were nice. The only con was the lighting in the living/dining—it is dark in the evening and more light is needed. This would not stop me from staying there again, though. We thoroughly loved this unit (we’ve stayed in others) and this one is our favorite because the access to fishing or canoeing right off the dock is set up so nice! Magical!

This condo was so inviting and comfortable. Beautiful decor, comfortable beds and bedding, all dishes/appliances provided and, of course, the location is magnificent! Right on Lake San Cristobal. The property manager checked in more than once to make sure our stay was pleasant. Perfect!!
