“The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of.”

“The breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh, tasty, and a wonderful way to start the day! The bedroom was also spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well looked after. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the excellent service. Even the off-site swimming pool is worthy to go with a small amount taxi fee for a family. Highly recommended!”

“Room looks nothing like when you book from the website”

“There were many issues with our stay here. 1. The owners messed with our stuff while we were out. 2. The toilet could only be flushed about 1x per hour. The owner said this was normal. 3. They do not even serve breakfast much less have a free one. 4. There is no airflow in the rooms and they do not have fans. While this is a relatively cheap place to stay, you will likely pay with a lack of comfort”

“Perfect place for a getaway. We were warmly welcomed by the host who straight away recommended places to go for dinner. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the countryside. We had a full English cooked for us which was spot on as we departed to climb scafell. We definitely would stay at this hotel again when we next visit the lakes ”

“Nice clean room , room was on the ground floor at the front so there was a bit of road noise . In hindsight as I was up early for a sporting event I should have asked for a room further away from the road . The bathroom was very nice but decor and furniture in the room was a bit tired , and the bed was not to me and my wife’s liking but that’s just a preference I guess . Generally a very nice place and perfect for our stay”
