Hotel a Lake Erie Beach

“My room wasn’t cleaned once while I was there or offered clean towels. The body wash was empty and cleaning supplies were left in the room. Breakfast supplies were limited on days as they might have run out of fresh fruit. You will have peeled eggs in the fridge for people to take but you have packaged breakfast sandwiches and call that a meal. The rooms are noisy no matter what because the highway is close so you hear a lot of vehicle noise no matter where the room is located.”

“The location and the view were excellent. The hotel needs a lot of repair. Our room: the floor was damp, the bathroom mirror had weird burn like streaking, there was rust in the bathtub, the water pressure was excellent, the walls in the room had had paint touch-ups that did not match the rest of the paint. “I liked clean room & daily fresh towels. Parking is good although sometimes guests park in front of my room & i have to then haul my suitcases to only spot I could get against the fence. Not usual occurance but frequent enough to be annoying. Refrigerator is good but it nearly freezes everything on the lowest setting. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.”

“This place is better than a back alley, but not by much. Weekend before Memorial day boiler still on and the room was 85 degrees had to open the door windows turn on the air it did not cool down until the next night. Cockroaches, they do not change the sheets inbetween guest, only thing the guy cleaning the room came out with are the towels, but i guess pretending to wash them works. Do not even ask about the bathroom, you are banging your knees to sit down and i think the shower was last used...

“Hideaway Bay is truly amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. A perfect weekend getaway! We stayed durning Mother’s Day weekend so it was much slower then I assume it would be in the summer. The staff was incredibly attentive- always make sure we had what we needed. If you pass them outside, they are always checking in with you, which i really appreciated it. “The furniture in the room was worn out. The door to the bathroom was broken. The threshold into the bathroom had bare metal rails that could cut bare feet, the toilet was wobbly, the floors were dirty and the shower controls were hanging off the wall…I did not use the shower because of the poor shape the bathroom was in. All of the items were communicated to the front desk staff. The only redeeming aspect to the room was clean linens. I will never stay there again.”
