Hotel a Lake Norman of Catawba

“Nice place but a little odd. Has a sauna. No hot tub, no pool, just a sauna. It’s a drive up park outside of your room motel. Rooms are nice but small. Have to go to the bar for ice. A fire pit outside would be awesome. Overall a nice place. Would probably go again.”

“Staff was very nice but the property sorely needs to be updated. Tiles cracked on bathroom floor, furnishings dated & look dirty. Carpet was filthy. Very ill fitting shower curtain that would not stay in place so the bathroom was all wet when done showering. Was not anywhere near worth was we were charged”

“The room was clean but the trash had not been emptied. The hallway had a funky smell. And breakfast was laughable”

“The public areas needed a good cleaning. Rhee was what appeared to be a blood smear on the hallway wall upstairs. When I mentioned it I was told “ I’m only a desk clerk”. The breakfast was weak at best. The room was clean. They allowed us to use a small business room to have pizza in with our dogs. There were people outside smoking “skunk weed”. But for the price I guess that’s what you get.”

“It was a very beautiful room .Absolutely the nicest place i have seen in a long time The staff was wonderful. We stayed in a resort in mrtyle Beach after our stop with you And your Establishment so much cleaner and nicer I would recommend your place to everyone who is going through or staying for a while It is an amazing place to stay.”

“The room was extremely large and very quiet. Bathroom was nice and clean. Issues? Yes, two chicken McNuggets were left on the floor just under the bed but VERY easily seen. Yes, you read this right. The couch had a nice stain on the side towards the window, and it looked very fresh. Not a problem for the night since I did not use the couch. With the two McNuggets that were left for me and the stained couch, I don't think the room was a clean as it may have appeared.”

“Clean rooms with an excellent staff along with an amazing breakfast with plenty of room to park and enjoy yourself so I recommend Best Western to anybody”

“We enjoyed the pool. The bed is a little more firm than the other Holiday Inns we have been staying at. It was probably medium, and I prefer soft. This was a good property at a convenient location.”
