Questa cabina è a pochi passi dalla nostra spiaggia privata sul lago Colby e dispone di una propria buca per il fuoco all'esterno. Gli affittuari possono utilizzare una delle nostre sette barche (2 barche a remi, 2 canoe, 2 kayak per adulti e 1 kayak per bambini) per partecipare alla pesca o semplicemente godersi il bellissimo lago. Il lago Colby fa parte della più grande comunità del lago Saranac che offre numerose attrazioni turistiche, tra cui escursionismo, sci sulla neve, linee zip, golf e cibo straordinario. Questa cabina è anche a due minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia pubblica e dal varo.

Il villaggio di Saranac Lake vanta meravigliosi ristoranti, pub e caffetterie. Colby Cabins è a due minuti in auto dal Monte. Pisgah dove tutta la famiglia può praticare sci alpino, tubing e snowboard. Il lago Saranac è circondato da alcuni dei sentieri più panoramici della costa orientale. Il lago Colby è noto per la sua eccellente pesca di: trota iridea e bruno, salmone, persico e spigola. Su questo lago è possibile utilizzare un massimo di 10 CV. Gli ospiti possono utilizzare una qualsiasi delle nostre sei barche: una barca a remi, 2 kayak full size, 2 canoe e un kayak size bambino (6 / 27-8 / 30 il check-in o il check-out possono essere effettuati in qualsiasi giorno tranne il sabato).

Queste cabine dispongono di tutti i comfort e servizi di cui i nostri ospiti hanno bisogno per godersi il Lago Colby e il Lago Saranac in qualsiasi momento dell'anno.

We really enjoyed our stay at bear cabin .The cabin had a nice cozy feel and we loved all the bear touches !The view from the house was beautiful! We enjoyed taking the row boat out and took in the scenery. Would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear Cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Colby. The cabin was decorated very nicely with lots of bear motif. Having access to a variety of boats (canoes, kayaks and row boats) was much appreciated. The Adirondack chairs outside were perfect for watching the sunset. The walls in the bedrooms do not go all the way to the ceiling, and thus the lighting from the living room and kitchen area can be a bit distracting for those people who like to sleep in or go to bed really late. The hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly to my inquiries. All in all it was a wonderful getaway.

Our First Christmas

The accommodations and amenities were as described. The cabin was clean, organized and beautifully themed. The parking was appropriate, plowed and the salt and shovel was helpful that was left. Enjoyed the privacy. We felt like we were in a beautiful snow globe.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful cabin that was perfect for our family while getting away for the weekend. Check in was simple and the home was very clean. The view of lake Colby in the morning we’re the kids favorite part.

Great Bear Cabin!

We loved the Bear Cabin and the extensive bear theming that made it feel special. Great location within longer walking distance to the town. Was easy to get the available boats on the water and great lake views!

Beautiful setting on Lake Colby

We generally were happy with our stay at bear cabin. The owner was very responsive to any and all items that came up. General cleanliness was a bit low in our opinion, but given the setting and beautiful lake view from the picture window we were able to overlook that. We did need to cut our visit short for personal reasons, but would rent at the location again. Proximity to the lake cannot be beat/ boats available to use and an abundance of fish to keep the kids and well myself busy even with sub par weather. The local community was great offering advice on tackle and things to do. Seems like the town of saranac is going through some improvements, lots of construction making parking difficult, but the addition of a rail trail will make this an even better location to visit in the future.

Disappointing

The cabin was indeed right on the lake. However, the pics did not reflect what it really looked like. Overall, a bit shabby.The beds were uncomfortable, the blinds did not work, and although we paid a clean up fee we were asked to strip the beds, bag up linen and towels, and bag up all the trash. What is the clean up fee for?

Beautiful Lake Cabin

My daughter and I had a great stay at Bear Cabin. We relaxed by the lake, took some great hikes and ate some amazing food at the local restaurants. The owner were very responsive to all our questions and needs - much appreciated.

Beautiful and cozy cabin directly on Lake Colby. Owners were very easy to work with and very responsive. As an owner of property that is also listed on VRBO ourselves, it was an easy 5 star review.

Skying and sightseeing

Nice cabin had all the items in the kitchen towels hot shower and very clean. Beautiful Scenery and view to the lake and location to town groceries restaurant and Lake placid. Just know that the driveway down to cabin you need a 4 well drive or a good SUV . We enjoyed our stay and loved the coszy cabin.

Our stay at Bear Cabin was great. It was cozy and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the location was close to the town of Saranac Lake as well as Lake Placid area.

Cozy Christmas Cabin

Overall this was an amazing home away from home. The weather was below freezing all 3 nights of our stay, but the gas fireplace kept it cozy. The only negative aspect was how cold the floors were, but the wool socks were a great barrier. Owners did say that they would be putting in area rugs to help with the cold. Owners were quick to respond to questions and concerns, and very responsive to our very few needs. We would book this place in a heartbeat, should we be looking for a place to stay in the Saranac Lake area.

Thanksgiving Getaway

My wife and I stayed at the Bear cabin along with our dog. We had a great time, the cabin was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. We had absolutely no issues but during the rental process Huda was quick to respond to my questions. We would absolutely stay again if we were to visit Saranac Lake again!

We had a great time here. Very nice location right on the lake. Cabin was clean and had all the things we needed including a nice kitchen, clean bathroom, comfortable bedrooms, fireplace. Highly recommend.

Bear cabin

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! So clean, quiet and the location was perfect!. We really enjoyed the lake as well. Great views and the sunsets were amazing!! All around our stay was so relaxing which is what we all needed! We definitely will come back again!!
