Hotel in zona Lake Pocotopaug, East Hampton

“The A/C had to be set at 60 degrees, to get a comfortable temp. The staff stated that was normal. That's pretty close to meat locker. I live in SE Florida, where nights are usually 80 to 90 degrees, between June and October. I set my A/C at 74, and am quite comfortable. On the second night, the toilet clogged up, would not flush. The front desk said I could come down and get a plunger, and unclog it myself. I didn't pay $150.00/night, to unclog my toilet. The next day they sent a maintenance...

“Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was minimal, but satisfactory. A reasonable option for an out-of-state parent dropping daughter off to attend a UCONN event.”

“Staff is great. Very kind and willing to help. This is a solid stay if you’re looking for the basics done very well. If you’re looking for luxury of function… you might pass. Perfect for people traveling with a dog or two. There is a large field adjacent to the parking lot which makes potty time very convenient. Overall we loved the place because it was located well, quiet, clean and comfortable. Rooms are small. 👍”

“Okay for a one night stay in order to be near family we were visiting. Room smelled musty, bathroom was good sized and seemed clean but room itself felt a bit shabby. Front desk staff member when we checked in was polite enough but not friendly and seemed like she didn’t want to be there.”
