Looking forward to next years trip!

This was our second stay. We wanted to get away for the anniversary of a very sad day and this was the perfect destination. I absolutely love this cabin and it’s wonderful deck. It is correctly named as magical! The service is outstanding and it is a pleasure to just “be” here. Being able to bring my dogs is icing on an already perfect cake. I recommend it to family and friends. Already planning to return.

Such a fun place to stay!

The space was really whimsical and yet, practical and comfortable.it worked for our group of 7. The space was clean and we had everything we needed! I was surprised the master was so open but it worked out!!

Beautiful place, we'll go here again! Its a perfect set up for a family vacation, a lot of thought has been put into the layout and also the amenities for guests. The folks that own it are great and easy to work with. Already thinking about our next visit!

great stay!

We visited with family from Germany and had a wonderful time at this unique, very artistic home. You will be tucked away from it all, so for us it was perfect to unwind and get family time going. We spend a lot of time on the gorgeous deck, which has a lot of space, having a BBQ every night and breakfast in the morning. The view is spectacular and you can see the trains coming in and out over Donner Pass. House is well equipped and has everything, even built in cabinets for the toaster and coffeemaker! Trina is a wonderful host and made sure we had all we need! We will be back!

Beautiful, relaxing, healing, fun, excellent service

I can not express enough how wonderful this vacation has been. From interacting with Trina before our stay, the luck of getting to meet her, the comfort of her cabin, the locations we went to visit (which Trina provided directions to us) the relaxed happiness I felt the entire time after 5 difficult years was priceless to me. Her cabin was a place of healing and happy memories for 5 adults and 3 dogs. I delighted in discovering so many special touches she has made throughout the house. The pictures do not do it justice and the way it feels inside, was like a warm hug for me. I hope to return again as it was the perfect get away for my family. Thank you Trina from the bottom of my heart for everything!! Just what I needed 💕 The pond nearby was perfect to take the dogs swimming and we also enjoyed the Donnor Pass Summit Railroad Tunnel hike.

Great house! Perfect for our thanksgiving vacation.

From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to have a great time. This house is so beautiful and unique. The densely wooded neighborhood makes you feel as if you're in the middle of no where yet everything is close. Perfect choice for our thanksgiving getaway!

Amazing spot

Beautiful house with all the appointments, just as advertised. For us, the best part was that it backs up to the forest - our boys had a blast exploring and playing right outside the door. Trina was helpful and accommodating - we left some items in the house, and she emailed us right away and mailed them to us! A+++ service.

Spectacular Castle in the woods.

Two families decided to take a last minute weekend trip and Trina was exceptional about responding and making sure everything we needed was available. She checked in on us and gave lots of outdoor activity options for the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the house - perfect for our two families with dogs and kids. Lots of space and lots of sleeping and bathroom options. Beautiful decor between the murals and hand painted tiles....perfect for the bathroom diva. Will definitely come back and stay again!

Can't wait to return!

This place was perfect for our double family weekend trip. The 4 bedroom 4 bath stone castle was ideal and very convenient. We spent time at Donner Lake which was only about a 15 minute drive. Unwinding at the castle was the perfect ending to our days. Our family is excited to spend another weekend here in the future. Trina, our host, was very helpful and answered all my questions promptly. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to visit the area and spend some quality time with the family away from all the hustle and bustle.

Weekend Getaway in Tahoe

We were looking for a place in the area to house 12 adults and came upon the Magical Stone Cabin. Trina was an incredible hostess! She is more than willing to accommodate her guest's needs. I truly enjoyed working with her. Also, the house is INCREDIBLE! I have never stayed at a house with so much attention to the interior decor. Trina has crafted a beautiful home. Apart from the decor, the house layout is perfect for a relaxing weekend in Tahoe with friends or family.
