Hotel a Lake Wazeecha

“The hotel was clean and in good condition. The beds were very comfortable but wished there was more than just bar soap to shower with. The continental breakfast was very good and fresh (waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bread/pastries, cereal, fruit). The pool and hot tub area were quite nice with tables and chairs and a room with 3 walls and ceiiling as windows. What I didn't like was how "punctual and inflexible" the staff were, they closed breakfast at 10am and even turned people away,...

“Hotel probably requires updating to this century but... the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were out dated as well but.. I didn't hear any body else in the hotel unless they were right outside the door. If all you require is a quiet place to sleep without worries of what you can not see for a reasonable rate, this place is exactly what you are looking for. Dont let it's general appearance fool you.”

“Check in is Via kiosk with video of man of Indian descent and strong accent… difficult to communicate. Process was longer than it should have been. Did not have breakfast; rooms and property clean and comfortable. A/C worked good. You will get a knock on your door at 11am sharp if you haven’t checked out. Good location. Great price!”

“They are in the middle of updating I guess. When we got there we had to wait about 30 mins or so because they were still working on our room. Then they were going to give us a room without a key so we would have to go to the office to get their key. After waiting all the time they decided the room still wasn’t ready so they gave us a different room in the middle building which there was a huge spider web across the whole entrance that I don’t see and I have a fear of spiders and had to strip...

“Breakfast Didn’t get any breakfast food due to the fact that the kid sports team staying at your hotel ate it all. Coffee was continually empty. And very loud. Hotel should warn other guests.”

“Although my mom and I experienced no significant issues during our stay at Holiday Inn Convention Center in Stevens Point, we were a little surprised at the minimalism of housekeeping. They'd take used towels and replace with clean ones, but our beds were never "freshened up", like fluffing up the used pillows, tucking in of sheets, etc. We didn't expect a full laundering of bedding like in the old days, but we were a little surprised at the lack of basic bedding maintenance. “Being on first floor on a soccer tournament weekend it was loud till 11:00 pm and we were woken up at 5:30 am by the noise of kitchen staff doing things for breakfast. Didn’t get much sleep.”
