The property is attractive and has updated appliances, which initially gave us a great first impression. Unfortunately, the positives were overshadowed by issues that should have been addressed before guests arrived.
There was no toilet paper provided in the home, which is a basic necessity that every rental should have. Even more concerning, the bathtub leaked so badly that the entire bathroom floor was soaked when we arrived. (And making it impossible to feel safe enough to use the shower.) This created a mess, made the bathroom unpleasant to use, and as I said above, raised safety concerns due to the slippery floor.
In addition, the noise from the unit above was excessive. We could clearly hear people walking around and going about their activities late into the night, making it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep. The lack of sound insulation was a significant drawback.
While the home has potential, these are not minor inconveniences—they are basic maintenance and hospitality issues that significantly impacted our stay. I hope the owner addresses them so future guests have a better experience.
