“Lovely hotel. I was upgraded to a classic double and the yoom was gorgeous . Nice staff . Very helpful.
They were having an up grade and refurbishment whilst I was there but it didn't affect my stay .

“Really beautiful place both the hotel and the location. Staff were all very nice, polite snd helpful which made the stay even more pleasant. The only downside was breakfast, the qaulity of the produce was excellant as i'm guessing was the standard of the breakfast if you were there at the start. I guess part of the problem was our own doing because we decided on a late breakfast towards the end of service, so we found the hot food gad now gone cold. This shouldn't happen so maybe look into...

“The property is a lovely place that has kept its unique original features. The Victorian facades and interior are refreshingly maintained. The staff are all very welcoming and genuinely friendly. Well located in a rural spot but 5 minutes walk into town, via the sea front promenade.”

“I had a really lovely stay. The hotel is peaceful, welcoming, really spacious and has very friendly and hospitable staff. Some of the furnishings are visibly old, but I don't mind that at all - personally, I find that much more environmentally-friendly. The setting was perfect for our outdoor weekend: rapidly flowing river outside our window and lovely views into the valley.

We got our drinks at the bar and confirmed our stay and we had a lovely evening meal.
The room was spacious and comfortable with a shower and bath.It was very quiet.Breakfast in the morning was great and heather made us feel so at home.
