“Room was nice. No elevator, only stairs and all rooms are on 2nd & 3rd floor. Terrible sketchy neighborhood. Bartenders were helpful, especially Jess, as there’s no front desk or luggage assistance.”

“Clean and courteous staff”

“Quiet, clean room. Breakfast was excellent.”

“The room smelled like cigarette smoke, the shower head was broken and sprayed all over me when I turned it on. There were also no tissues in the room.”

“First room smelled like smoke. Then they changed us to another room, but towel rack was falling apart, the desk chair was dirty and we had to put a towel on it to sit. The shower water wasn’t working properly, it would come out hot then cold it wasn’t an even flow.”

“Horrible. Long story but The front desk was not knowledgeable, and no one knew protocols and just made up stuff as they pleased, and when I tried to address the matter they hung up on me. Would never book or stay with this company again. I escalated my experience to the franchise and they too had issues contacting and communicating with this property.”

“Wasn’t sure what to expect with the negative reviews but it was perfectly fine. Beds were pretty stiff but the room and sheets were all clean. Didn’t find an ice machine and the property is definitely older but everything worked and we were close to downtown Reno ”

“First of all, we were booked and put in a smoking room, I’m guessing because we booked through Expedia. We had 2 rooms and they were both booked as smoking. Multiple calls were just met with no non-smoking rooms are available. One whole day we had to experience a jack hammer or air hammer breaking of concrete in the room above us. This went on for 8 hours. Couldn’t stay in the room. Calling the desk resulted in we’re at full capacity and can’t move you, and are unable to refund room charges...

“Clean rooms ”

“Nicely renovated hotel that accommodates dogs, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are cute, but very small. Shower has glass walls so your partner can watch you I guess. Loud AC, but is better than no AC. Only has a tea kettle and instant coffee in the room, but it was good. ”

“The Element is a great hotel for Reno. Their breakfast was amazing! The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The bar was fabulous as well. The hotel does a lot of little things for the guests which was appreciated such as a happy hour, water and coffee available anytime. The only draw back is the hotel is located on a busy street so it can be loud in the evening.”

“The area was in an industrial part of town and not the best part of town! Parking was OK. The hotel staff was very good. We didn’t have any interaction with the housekeeping staff other than getting clean towels. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff was very accommodating. The only thing negative in the room was I didn’t have a very comfortable chair and there was no counter space in the bathroom.”
