“At first, I was a little disappointed that my Aunt chose this hotel - especially after finding out there wasn’t complimentary breakfast (big back). David checked me in and helped me most days with patience and kindness, which I really appreciated. “The hotel was pretty run down. Damaged walls, scrapes, cabinets loose/close to coming off the hinges. The phone was broken. The breakfast was very good and the sweet lady who staffed it (I didn’t get her name) was wonderful. It’s just not worth the price. In the condition it was, it’s more of a $80 per night hotel.”

“River & Twine Tiny home was a great place to stay for the evening. The Mills house several restaurants a coffee shop and several breweries. We love biking and the trails near the Tar River were so nice There was an asphalt and boardwalk type. Great stop all around and enjoy the waterfallls.”

“Pretty Clean. Safe. Carpets could use a better cleaning & corners of the bathroom. Went down for breakfast at 8:45a & most things were out & not replenished (breakfast served from 7-10a). Not a great breakfast selection. Overall, Comfortable stay. Good for overnight stop when driving from FL to NY.”

“The room was nice and clean! We ordered dessert from the bar and the waiter was very kind and helpful! Overall, a nice trip.”

“We were not notified that the hotel was being renovated. There was work being done all over. The elevator was not working in the morning so I had to lug 4 heavy suitcases down four floors since we were on the upper tier. This was not a good start for a road trip.”
