Nice Place
The people that checked us in and out were super nice. The apartment was comfortable and the location was very nice - especially with the little ferry that takes you from Passeur A across the channel. The kitchen has reasonable pots, pans and a large number of dishes.Perhaps because it was off-season and the apartment had not been used recently, the cleaning was a little off. On the surface, things looked fine but it really needed a deep cleaning. For example, the floors and windows could use a good scrub. We took the linens and towels to the local laundromat (nice one at Utile) to wash and dry as they smelled lightly of mildew. [We did not contact the agent as it was easier just to wash a few things. I'm sure they would have helped with new linens had we asked.] It was odd that the only soap was a bottle of hand soap in the kitchen. As it was Sunday and off-season, all the shops were closed. So, we had to wait until Monday to purchase dish soap for the kitchen and shampoo / soap for the shower room. After many years of staying in VRBOs, this is the first VRBO that did not have the basic soaps for at least the first night.The VRBO included a bath towel for each guest and 2 tea towels for the kitchen. There was an ample supply of paper towels that we used as hand towels by the sinks in the shower room and bathing room.NOTE: Sunday off-season all shops are closed by noon. Bring food and other supplies with you.Overall, it was pleasant and we would stay here again.
