Hotel a Leverett

“I was placed in a handicapped unit. Even though I am approaching handicap at 95, I didn’t care for the layout of the unit.”

“The place was fine--I don't demand much of a hotel. It is basically a place to sleep. However, more discerning travelers might have been upset by the fact that the supplemental door lock didn't work, one of the shelves in the closed was broken and the one day out of four that we had maid service, they seemed to only half finish the job. They may be very short of staff.”

“Bathroom had a moldy shower curtain and bathtub was moldy. There was dirt and bugs on the floor. The paint on bathroom ceiling was peeling. The ac was so loud it was hard to sleep…”

“Check in was very good. Customer service was exceptional. The room however smelled of cigarette smoke. Overall a good experience.”

“Terrific staff. When we had to shorten her stay by one day they handled it beautifully. They warned us breakfast on Monday and Tuesday is pretty scant. It's a charming area of town and of the region also”

“Everything was fine. No problems.The staff even recmomended restaurants other then their own.Parking was easy and free.”

“Most of the hotel has rooms opening to the outside, with a smaller section that has interior hallways. The rooms are dated, but functional. The lobby has clearly been updated, but the rooms have not. Everything worked and the room was large, but it definitely had a run-down feel to it. Staff were great.”

“Clean and comfortable”

“Our stay at the Fairfield Northampton was great. The room and all common areas were clean. Housekeeping came and made the beds, replenished towels and toiletries with care while we were out. Location was close the downtown with shops and eateries and a 20 minute drive from UMass. The complimentary breakfast and pool was a highlight of our stay. The staff was all super friendly. We look forward to staying again for any our future UMass visits.”

“Appealing common spaces, lovely selections at the coffee/tea station, library and games. Everything for a cozy respite in a great location. Walk to the local village and attractions, central to exploring the Mohawk Trail.”
