“This was an excellent option as a base to organize some outings to distilleries. We focused on distilleries in Frankfort and Louisville, so Shke yvulle was a great in between stop. The only snafu of the trip was the door code didn't work on arrival, but the owner responded quickly to text to get us in. The house is charming and clean and very quiet outside of the random trains. But if you make use of the ear plugs thoughtfully sprinkled through the bedrooms, the trains aren't much of a problem....

“My wife and I stayed for a weekend in the Bourbon Barrel Cottages. It was such an excellent experience. The owners had fantastic communication. It was super easy to check-in and out.Our cottage was extremely clean and modern. The hot tub and fire pit we're in great condition.There is easy access to all the local restaurants, wineries, and distilleries with only a quick 20 minute drive.We did not do a tour, but I imagine it would be a great experience if it went as well as the rest of our...

“Wonderful stay! Beautiful property, and a quaint, cozy cabin. The only concern we had was that there was no window covering over the front door, and it is one big window that someone could see straight through to the bedroom and bathroom. There were other guests staying in the other cabin so privacy was a bit of a concern. ”

“We loved our stay at this cute cottage community! Great hosts and near distilleries and wineries. Enjoyed the firepit and our dog loved walking in the grass. Also enjoyed the Bourbon Country Welcome center! Great food! ”
