“A wonderful stay at La Costa Motel. We stayed in Room 7. A nice selection of breakfast items were provided (including real milk!) and it was lovely meeting Ros. It didn’t detract from our experience, but note that the area is quite noisy due to it being very close to the airport (planes fly from 6am - 11pm) and because the walls between rooms are quite thin (ours were separated by an internal door). “Loved this charming boutique motel! Our oceanfront room was perfect — comfortable bed, great value, and a prime central location. It was the ideal little getaway. We really appreciated the bonus perks: onsite parking, bike hire, and super friendly staff. The daily happy hour from 4–6 was a great touch! Tucked away in a quiet spot, yet close to everything. Highly recommend!”

“Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. ”

“Golden Riviera is in a prime spot on the beach and close to shops, pub and lifesaving club. The large pool is lightly heated and is exceptionally clean and beautiful. The area around the pool is inviting and attractive with loungers, umbrellas and a barbeque area. The gardens are well-kept, tranquil and lush.
