“Hotel ideally situated just off the A12. But there is no road noise that disturbed our sleep. Room was nice and clean well stocked with tea and coffee, soap, shampoo, hairdryer and iron. Breakfast was very good and kept us topped up for most of the day. Although we didn't eat in the hotel, the menu had enough variety and was decently priced. “Everything good apart from a ridiculously long wait for breakfast. Unsure why, when the breakfast room is virtually empty, it takes 35-45 minutes to serve scrambled eggs and smoked salmon? Shame as such great accommodation but breakfast service really needs urgent attention.”

They do appear to have a programme of renovations in hand, but our corner room had several cracked window panes and dated furnishings. “Lovely guesthouse, does exactly what it needs to do , welcoming hosts, lovely clean comfortable room with everything you need. Breakfast really good. Parking helps and distance to seafront nice walk.”
