Hotel a Little Hocking

“Nice hotel. Doors were weird and did not go all the way to the floor. Breakfast was slim options.”

“We had a good time staying in Mineral Wells. The breakfast staff and hotel staff in general were helpful and very friendly. The property needs some maintenance and updating. The door to my bathroom would not close all the way, broken tiles and air conditioners need a good cleaning. The door to open the room was also not well aligned and had to be forced open/closed. The hot tub was closed for maintenance.”

“I believe this hotel must be going through renovations. How else can you explain open electrical boxes and door signs taped to the doors. The hotel bathroom sink slowly drained and the shower doors didn't close. Cold water for about two minutes. I used two towels to sop up the water outside the shower, since a shower mat was not provided. No soap in the shower. One small soap at the sink. Only two trash bins. Lighting near bed was terrible. Had to move a floor lamp for good...

“Wow, the Blennerhassett Hotel is full of surprises. I booked for all the usual reasons - looked historical and charming, clean, good reviews. After check in (and they upgraded me which was nice), I had a question for the front desk and my heart melted when I saw a darling doggie friend looking back at me from behind the desk. Turns out the hotel partners with the local humane society, and has helped 200 dogs find new homes!!! They have a wall of adoptee photos across from the front desk and...

“Breakfast was supposed to be served at 6:00am, hence one of the reasons we booked there. When we checked out at almost 7:00am, it still wasn’t ready, so we had to go to Dunkin down the street.”

“Our room was dirty along the baseboards and doors, the shower handle didn’t work and had to have someone fix it, the shower was dirty along the perimeter. We forgot a couple things in the room and they threw them away.”

“Probably the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at …. Staff was lovely and the location was great, but it was hard to get past the filth, and musty scent.”

“For one night near Ohio University, it was a great choice. Not walking distance to campus, but a lot cheaper than the properties that are. It was an easy 6-minute drive away. The room was fine and I heard no noise from outside or neighbors.”
