Hotel vicino a Little River Railroad and Lumber Company Museum - Townsend

“Awesome”

“I travel to Townsend a couple of times a year to visit GSMNP and have stayed at numerous hotels in that area. This was my first time at The Parkman. Property was clean and staff were efficient. My only complaint was that my room did not have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property is undergoing some renovations and I hope they add mini-fridges and microwaves to all their rooms. The restaurant next door is also under renovation so there is no breakfast offering at the current time.”

“La nostra cabin era molto bella internamente e dotata di ogni comfort. Ottimo il ristorante Appalachian Bistro. Unica pecca un odore sgradevole proveniente dal bagno. ”

“We really enjoyed the access to the gas grill and pavillion. We were able to spend valuable family together. We gathered supplies at the local IGA grocery and prepared supper while the kiddo swam in the pool. The lodge is very close to Cades Cove and we were glad to spend time there as well.”

“Motel carino in una bella zone, purtroppo però il bagno era datatissimo con doccia vecchia e nessun tappo per la vasca. Dopo entrati pa camera non è stata rifatta, quindi oltretutto niente caffè per la macchina, impossibile trovare qualcuno alla mattina per chiedere. Piscina carina ma qualcuno dovrebbe ogni tanto togliere insetti”

“For me it was just a place to sleep for the night and for that purpose it was okay.”

“The room was clean and check in instructions were easy to follow. Breakfast was delicious each day. Parking was fine but sometimes not enough space to park at the end of the day. Not too much they can do about that. The only thing that was lacking was not enough utensils/plates/bowls etc in the room. The view was amazing and the property provided a great deal of privacy. I would definitely recommmend this location and stay here again.”

“Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug.”

“The place its self is beautiful. The location is amazing. What was frustrating is on expedia they dont tell you about the addition security deposit. They also did not give us the code information until we were 10 minutes out. That was frustrating because we through it might have been a scam. Also there were packages left outside. We were asked to bring them in. Thats fine we did no problem but there was no where to put then that was not in our way.”

“The condo was nice, with only minor, cosmetic issues, and the view was beautiful. The roads were steep with a couple of sharp turns more easily navigated by smaller vehicles.”
