Hotel vicino a River Rage Go-Kart Track - Townsend

“I travel to Townsend a couple of times a year to visit GSMNP and have stayed at numerous hotels in that area. This was my first time at The Parkman. Property was clean and staff were efficient. My only complaint was that my room did not have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property is undergoing some renovations and I hope they add mini-fridges and microwaves to all their rooms. The restaurant next door is also under renovation so there is no breakfast offering at the current time.”

“Motel carino in una bella zone, purtroppo però il bagno era datatissimo con doccia vecchia e nessun tappo per la vasca. Dopo entrati pa camera non è stata rifatta, quindi oltretutto niente caffè per la macchina, impossibile trovare qualcuno alla mattina per chiedere. Piscina carina ma qualcuno dovrebbe ogni tanto togliere insetti”

“We really enjoyed the access to the gas grill and pavillion. We were able to spend valuable family together. We gathered supplies at the local IGA grocery and prepared supper while the kiddo swam in the pool. The lodge is very close to Cades Cove and we were glad to spend time there as well.”

“The room was clean and check in instructions were easy to follow. Breakfast was delicious each day. Parking was fine but sometimes not enough space to park at the end of the day. Not too much they can do about that. The only thing that was lacking was not enough utensils/plates/bowls etc in the room. The view was amazing and the property provided a great deal of privacy. I would definitely recommmend this location and stay here again.”

“Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug.”

“I get this hotel for my family members that come down and love it. I stay there with them. The pool is so heated, and I love that. Always so clean..the staff treats me so kind. The rooms always smell so clean. I love this place =) I highly recommend!!”

Had to get someone come pick us up,they were very helpful letting us say in room extra hour till our help arrived. Very understanding. Excellent place lots of Activities to keep everyone occupied. “The staff were friendly and it was pretty clean. They had a pretty small fridge in the room that could keep very few things. The bathroom was very tiny. The room was fairly clean. Kept finding long black hairs everywhere. It was really hot in the room even when the air was turned to the lowest setting. I would definitely bring my own drinks and snacks while staying here because the vending machine prices were outrageous but over all it was an okay place to stay for a couple nights. The room we...

“I appreciated the location, close to the Great Smoky Mountains NP and downtown Gatlinburg, the courtesy of the reception staff, the free parking. The breakfast could be improved for variety and quality”

“The hotel was great! The lady at the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful. The bathroom door wouldn’t close unless I put all my weight into it since it was warped. But other than that the location, parking and price were great. And thanks for the lemonade and cookies! We will stay again.”

“Walkable to downtown area which is a big plus since traffic and parking in the area are always bumper to bumper and pricey, respectively. Friendly and helpful staff with a nice welcome gift of some waters. Great breakfast selection with made to order omelets. Lazy river could benefit from cleaning and an update to the 3 inner tubes that were on their last legs, though overall great property. And while not a characteristic of the hotel specifically, it was both thrilling and frightening to see...

“The staff is great. You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s in the middle of everything. It’s great for parking. I enjoyed breakfast every morning. My only real complaint was that there was no hot water the last morning I was there. I mean literally none. They were working on it which means at times I had no water at all at times.”

“The place its self is beautiful. The location is amazing. What was frustrating is on expedia they dont tell you about the addition security deposit. They also did not give us the code information until we were 10 minutes out. That was frustrating because we through it might have been a scam. Also there were packages left outside. We were asked to bring them in. Thats fine we did no problem but there was no where to put then that was not in our way.”
