“The beds was not good ”

“The place was new inside and out, clean, and the staff was friendly as well as helpful. Really nice place to stay! Didn’t see much of Dover due to this being an overnight stop and go on our way to North Carolina outer banks. Would definitely stay there again if we were on our way through again.”

“I had booked to stay here however once I got to the hotel it was not what I expected so I got my money back and went somewhere else. (The staff was very nice to deal with, not her fault.) It smelt like smoke, the chair in the room was stained and disgusting, the bathroom has a cigarette burn in the shower and mold. Unacceptable. ”

“Apart from a few stray hairs and very mild stains on the bedding (which seems to be the case at the vast majority of places), the room was very clean and cozy. Well lit room, great shower, immaculately clean bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, good wifi, very effective heater, and (free) parking very close to room. Staff was very welcoming upon arrival, and everything worked as expected, making White Oaks an amazing value for my stay in the area!”

“The room was clean and the staff were polite, but they offered a terrible breakfast. I had to go out and buy food for own food. Only offered make your own waffles, packaged muffins and white bread to toast. No eggs or protein. Poor!”

“I did not end up staying at this property. I made the reservation and, within about 10 minutes, requested a cancellation after seeing the location in person, but my request was denied. Upon arrival, I did not feel safe. The parking area appeared unsecured, and the overall environment raised concerns. There were multiple individuals outside engaged in activities that made the setting uncomfortable. “Overall, staff and hotel were good. Shower stall floor seemed a bit grimy and the toilet paper holder was broken off. One of the glasses in the kitchen had a lipstick print on it. Other then that we appreciated the location and the 2 bedroom suite. Check in/out was easy.”
