Recently renovated, the hotel provided my family of 4 with a quiet, spacious, and safe place to spend the weekend. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was great and the secure/free parking was appreciated. Would stay here again, thanks!

Fantastic staff; Hotel situated in Industrial estate .Company next to hotel moving skips around .I had zero view from my room window due to a huge stack of skips.Breakfast ok.Parking provided by hotel excellent .My room was compact with all expected facilities.check in/out no problem.Hotel generally in good condition and clean and well maintained.

We booked through Expedia, but first called the hotel to ensure it was pet-friendly, as it was listed so on this website, but not specified on their own. We were assured it was, and proceeded to book. We then took a pricey cab ride from the airport to this hotel, and were checked in while holding our dog; when we went to get into the elevator, the front desk attendant said we couldn't bring our dog with us... as if we should leave him somewhere? It turns out the hotel is not pet friendly, and when I explained to the front desk that we checked ahead of time, she called a manager, and neither were concerned about the misinformation, just told us we couldn't stay, and said "there's other hotels around". After 30 mins of us sitting in the lobby with our suitcases and dog, we found other accommodations, and asked if they would mind calling us a taxi. It was now a new front desk attendant, and he said he would call and that they'd cover the taxi fare, we'd just have to submit a receipt to the manager's email. We moved to our new location, emailed the receipt, received an email back that we'd hear from them soon, and then did not. After following up again, we still haven't heard anything from the managers, and it's clear they don't see a problem with how any of this was handled. Really disappointed in the lack of service here, but glad we found something better.

Booked suddenly due to family issues, as a single female I felt very safe at this hotel. It had a late check in and a later check out up to 11am with express checkout which I used. I liked : Gated free parking with night time security -value for money double room -complimentary bottled water as well as tea, cofffee, shower gel, shampoo -small fridge in the room -blackout curtains -lovely hot shower -do not disturb / please make up my room options -guessing 32 inch TV with satellite channels so screen big enough to comfortably view from bed My only negative critisms were -stain on one of the towels -string smell from the kitchen permeated the room of curry whilst not unpleasant it made my clothes smell the same after just 1 night and also being neuro-diverse with ADHD and Autism, I have a tendency to avoid strong smells so was hard to sleep

The room in my view is standard (it was supposedly executive). Not exactly what the pictures look like, but similar minusing a few things. Very cheap bedding and pillows. Hot water in the shower did not come on. Greasy headboard. Tap water in the bottle of water provided. The recpection area and hallways are nicely decorated. However, what i didnt like the most was, whilst checking in I was randomly told there is a £100 deposit for the room, refundable depending on damages. I initially thought that was weird as I never saw any clear mention of this whilst making my reservation and felt more singled out then an official requirement. Plus the room really had nothing of that value to break. What i did notice in the room was a sign that says there is a £100 fine if you smoke in the room. Apon checking out i thought they would want to check the room before returning my deposit. This wasn't the case and it was returned immediately. Therefore i can only assume the £100 deposit was not for damages but a pre assumption that because of my skin colour/appearance that i would smoke in the room. I did not appreciate that. You need to be very clear in why you are taking money from your visitor's.

Firstly the hotel does not respond to any emails or messages previous to check in. The room did not have an iron or hangers or enough towels, and no refrigerator. We had to ask for all of the above. The sink was cracked and the shower had mold. I wouldn't suggest staying here for more than a day If you are looking for comfort. The linens on the bed was simply a duvet and a top sheet not even a fitted sheet. Breakfast was ok, it consisted of boiled or fried eggs, yogurt, toast, cereal, mini hotdogs and beans. Supplies ran low after the first hour and wasn't replenished and you had to ask. The staff was extremely polite to their credit but I wouldn't stay there again.

Adequate when heavily discounted.
Parking was virtually impossible when I turned up. Just a couple of badly parked cars that had left enough of a gap to squeeze into with barely an inch to spare. Check in was a bit of a chore with some insistence on the provision of a photo ID which I don’t carry habitually, something about it being in the terms but when booking through the Hotels.com App I hadn’t been aware of. The room was in need of refurbishment. No side tables by the bed despite having sockets either side of the bed which meant having devices charging up on the floor. The breakfast was really poor. A solitary dried up egg on offer. So I grabbed a couple of slices of curled up bread to toast and had with a coffee made from a packet of instant coffee by the kettle. No proper coffee. The juice wasn’t really juice, just some sort of squash, very watery and unpleasant. Overall the hotel looks the part until you scratch the surface and then you can see how cheap and nasty everything really is.

Disappointing stay
The room had a light which kept coming on at random points of the night, no logical reason to why it would flicker on but it was very disturbing. Twice, once in the evening and once at 6.30am a very loud fire alarm went off in my room waking me up. Again no logical reason to why it went off, there was definitely no fire though. I was made to pay a £100 deposit on arrival and one week later I am still waiting for this to be returned. If I hadn’t checked a bank statement I’d imagine this would have gone unnoticed.

Somewhat disappointed.
Me and my partner finally managed to book the deluxe double en-suite(executive) room the most expensive room there , it wasn’t as it had been shown in the pictures unfortunately, the tv screen was all blue and couldn’t be changed much even in the settings , the door to the room wouldn’t close properly, there always seemed to be a draft coming from one of the windows even when closed , some of the furniture and furnishings was dusty and dirty for example the sofa looked like it had never been cleaned it had a lot of stains on it and the closet door was really dusty , also part of the flooring on the left side of the bed looking at it was missing a part and which you could definitely hurt yourself in and or trip on but the positives are that the staff was nice and friendly ,they was quick and responsive with some issues we had , the overall design of the room and layout was pleasant . We have stayed in this hotel a few times now and have had a great experience but for some reason this room we had been looking forward to and was trying to book for sometime was unfortunately disappointing, the executive double room en-suite we normally get is great and hadn’t had any issues what so ever.

I thought the staff was very friendly…the room was vey cosy and warm. I would definitely stay there again. Martina, was a friendly staff member who helped me stay in my room for an additional night

Fair price
The room was dirty. They were stains everywhere in the room on the curtains, bed and floor. The bathroom was fine, but the beds were really uncomfortable. The staff was really friendly and nice.

Did not like room, really uncomfortable mattress and the light in the bathroom couldn’t be switched off so bright light the whole night, furniture in room really scuffed and needs updating for the price and this was supposed to be executive suite
