The good thing about Maison 140 is the location. Most of the staff is nice. Upon check in (I was supposed to receive VIP access) I was asked if I was driving. I answered positively and said that I parked the car at the Hotel's parking lot, when I was warned and advised: "The daily parking fee is $37. If you leave your car parked on our parking lots (an open area garage with access to everyone) your car will be towed. We really tow away our clients' cars..." What??? I parked there solely to disembark and unload my luggage. By the way, not help whatsoever has been offered. I had barely finished the check in when I was summoned to either pay $37 or move the car somewhere else. That was unnecessarily rude. It worth saying that the area is widely served by parking spaces, and the hotel parking area couldn't be any more empty. So, I wonder what the purpose of such adverts were. Perhaps the hotel could provide better training for the employees.
If you are a big person GO SOME OTHER HOTEL, because you will not fit under the shower. It is the tiniest space of a shower I have ever seen. You cannot even close the box door.
We are dealing with Covid-19, and the hotel provides a kit for personal hygiene. Do not expect any room service. You can order food from any of the tens of places around that deliver our using an app, but be prepared to get all dressed up to go downstairs to pick up your delivery as the hotel does not drop or allows it to be dropped by your room door
