We loved everything about this place! From the staff members Enrique who was outstanding and went above and beyond! Rosa, Sindy, and Laura who always worked so hard everyday! Along with all the other staff! You were all AMAZING!! Would come back in a heartbeat! The bikes were an added bonus we looked forward to riding every day! Thank you all for an amazing time!!

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, für 4 Personen viel Platz. Kleines Frühstück im typischen Stil ok. Betten etwas durchgelegen, wie meistens, vor allem die Schlafcouch ging nur für leichte Kinder. Große Dusche. Strasse leider deutlich hörbar, vor allem bei lauten Autos.

ADORABLE, pet friendly, intimate boutique hotel centrally located in Santa Monica! We found the team at SMH to be welcoming and accommodating! We were very fortunate to discover this mini oasis when we needed a last minute room, and couldn’t have been happier! SMH is in a great location, we could walk our pups around the block & were close to everything! We really appreciated being able to park (free!) right outside ur room as well.

Good place to stay for the night. Clean, easy parking, Mel’s Dinner was 4 blocks away. Staff was helpful, mattress was great and short drive to beach. Not fancy but comfortable.

改装前の昨年も泊りましたが、サンタモニカピアまで徒歩25分、ホテル回りにも食事場所、スーパー、コンビニ、スタバとあります。 僕はサンセット通りにもあるメルズダイナーが大好きで必ず行きます。 スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで、部屋も改装されて綺麗で清潔ですが、シャワーの水圧だけは本当に弱いのが残念です。 そしてサンタモニカモーテルからからサンタモニカホテルと名前が変わったのがなんかほっこりしました。

Overall, pretty decent. Although it was $200 a night with taxes and fees, that's a little bit lower than other places in the area so I'm taking that into account. The main issue is there was no air-conditioning, just fans. I know it's January so they had the heat on and the air-conditioning units off, but it was nearly 80° today and the room itself stayed significantly hotter than the outside air, even with all the windows open and fans going. Only other negative was I found a sponge in the shower behind the shampoo bottle that had a bunch of hair sticking out of it, that was disgusting but not a huge deal because I just didn't touch it and the rest of the shower was clean. The room was also clean and nice, although it could've used a desk area to work at. They clearly are putting some work into keeping it updated, keeping up with the paintwork and design of the hotel, so kudos to them.

Nicely renovated old motel. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The lady at check-in was very kind (forgot her name unfortunately) and next morning Laura was super helpful with getting a few things organized for us. Very comfy beds, a Nespresso coffee machine and even a few snacks for breakfast in the morning. Ask for a room at the back of the property as there's quite some noise from the main road. Only thing we disliked was a missing table in the room. One small chair but no table.

Fantastic property that was well looked after and managed. Room was excellent. Only issue was being situated next to a noisy main road and having a 25min walk to the main boardwalk area. However, this was well worth it for what was a lovely place that was easy to get to driving.
