We stayed 6 days here. We left with a strong feeling of disappointment and discomfort due to discrimination and inconsistency of service. We paid for top Altitude upgrade, not worth the price. Don’t stay here!
Our butler was kind but clearly overbooked, resulting in inconsistent communication and lack of personalized service. Room service was unreliable (missing items, wrong food—sausages replaced with hotdogs), and room cleaning was inconsistent. The pool was heated, which was nice, but it did not appear to be cleaned daily.
Service in the Altitude-only areas was uncomfortable. At the Sky Lounge (12/27 & 1/1) and the Grill, older staff (guy) ignored us while being noticeably attentive to other guests. As Asian guests, this felt discriminatory and unwelcoming. We were treated like this the entire time and noticed they treated other Asian families this way. We waited over 30 minutes at the Grill restaurant before having to ask the host to take our order with only a few tables occupied. The guy waiter ignored us the entire time.
Restaurants and bars were severely understaffed, employees looked unhappy, and service quality suffered. Despite paying a premium, menus lacked premium options. The buffet had very limited choices. Food quality was disappointing - noticeably the Italian and Asian restaurants were not edible (cold food, hard noodles, watered-down curry). Worst AI ever! Don’t stay here!
