“The property was ok, but the place was clean. I think it was overpriced though, and I could have gotten a place nearby for less that was comparable. It may be priced that way because it’s near a casino and a mall. Neither one of which I was interested in.”

“This hotel is quirky, but in a charming way. The staff was great and it's a very central location in downtown allowing easy travel to many attractions in Omaha. There were a few "down sides" to the hotel, but nothing that would deter me from staying at this facility again. This hotel is charm, not modern, which is something I prefer when visiting new places.”

“The hotel room was clean and comfortable. In room coffee was provided but only one decaffeinated and one caffeinated was provided for 2 of us so got a couple more from the front desk but should have had enough so I didn’t have to go get more. There was one chair in the room to sit on but with 2 people there should be 2 as there was plenty of room for them. We ate dinner and had breakfast at Guy Fieros. Very good food and service. We stayed Friday night so we could attend the stir cove...

“It was a nice stay. The room was really the highlight. We found everything to be very clean and fresh! The lobby is super small, cute, historic, but unimpressive at night. We only stayed one night and did not eat at the restaurant, but it looked pretty! Elevator and halls were just meh design-wise, but the rooms were lovely. Bathroom was great (but why don’t Midwest hotels install fans? It’s not just the historic places, they’re missing everywhere!), and the beds were cuddly, soft, & super comfy...

“We’ve stayed here multiple times. This time the mattress was horrible. Time to be replaced! We could feel a board like strip down the center. It was hard enough trying to get a good nights sleep. In addition to that, the drag racing on Dodge was annoying! I know the hotel can’t control that but it went until the wee hours of the morning. Both things will influence my decision of where to stay next time”

“Lately I have booked Holiday Inns for small travel trips due to the amenities like the free breakfast (a must for the teens in my life) and renovations (or new). I will say the two positives at this hotel were the lovely night manager, predictable and well stocked break and the diligent staff restocking the breakfast area (refilling coffee makers). Sadly, those are the only positives - and usually I’m a positive person in reviews. Ugh. The negatives are: Our room was reserved for five people...

“The rooms were extremely clean, and I appreciated the tile floors in rooms over carpet. We had complete control over the thermostat, which was nice. The hotel was in walking distance to Hook & Lime, Bobo’s, and Rocco’s pizza, which were great restaurants. Breakfast was very meh. I would not spend extra for it honestly. Day 2 of 3 the breakfast left us feeling sick to our stomach. Weekends they do a buffet style and weekdays they do sit down style. The food was better on weekdays sitting down....

“We chose this location because of its proximity to the Blackstone Neighborhood and its pool. The rooms were clean, though our garbage was not emptied once in the 4 days that we were there. The biggest issue that we had with this property was one of the front desk workers. It got to the point where we would think of alternate routes to avoid walking by the desk. She would admonish our children for walking back from the pool, talking at normal volumes, and even went so far as to use profanity...

“Room was great. Only concern is parking. Lot was full both nights we were there. They reimbursed the parking fee since there were not spots, which was appreciated.”

“Stayed for 3 days and no cleaning service the entire time. Other than that the staff was friendly.”

“Property was exactly as advertised. Room was comfortable and the extra kitchenette came in very handy. Breakfast was delicious with the build your own omelet station, and the happy hour and tea time were a very nice touch! Good location with restaurants walking distance and easy access to downtown just a few minutes drive away. I will definitely stay here again.”
