“It was a very nice place to stay at a reasonable cost. Ideal location near to Cooling Castle were able to walk back after the wedding well with a torch. Staff were all friendly. Would recommend.”

The first room n. 308 was very nice but unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working and nobody could repair it as it was a Sunday. We were moved to another room the day after. Can’t rooms be checked before the customers’ arrival?”

“The property was on the seafront overlooking the beach, Southend Pier, and the amusements. All of the food outlets were either on the seafront or within 20 minutes walk east or west along the parade or north going towards Sainsburys. Lovely place which i hope to visit again.”

Peccato che nella prenotazione di HOTELS non è stato assolutamente specificato che la camera nostra era una specie di capsule room (penso sui 12 mt), inadatta per due persone e per muoversi con le valigie. “Facciata e parti comuni molto curate, ma la stanza era orrenda. Piccola e con affaccio su una scala di servizio esterna. L'armadio era inutilizzabile perché ingombro di un tavolo da stiro, termosifone e ventilatore (l'impianto di condizionamento...) che tirati fuori non avrebbero lasciato spazio per muoversi. “Unique gorgeous seaside English hotel. Lovely staff very helpful,friendly and hard workers. The property is well maintained, clean and just has a lovely vibe to it. Comfortable bed, modern bathroom We absolutely loved staying here and so did our nieces.”
