“The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area.”

“We had an amazing one night stay here. Family Room on the top floor, fantastic view of the sea and great for people watching. Toilet is down the hall, not that clean and fresh feeling. Showers down a floor, fine. Incredibly good value for such an amazing location right in the heart of things. We tried to stay a second night but unfortunately that room was booked and we were offered a room on the first floor but it seemed like it would be really noisy right over the pub. “Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!) We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty. Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
