Close to Canyon lodge Nestled in the Mountains, this comfortable 1 bedroom

plus loft, 2 bath condominium in Mammoth Lakes California is perfect for a

family of 6 people. Enjoy a deck, wood burning fireplace, TV, High speed

internet access, and well-equipped kitchen. The Discovery 4 complex is great

for year-round enjoyment with an outdoor pool, hot tub, 2 gas grills, dry

sauna, recreation room with ping pong table, pool table, foosball, and

complimentary WiFi access! Located 1.25 miles to downtown Mammoth Lakes and on

the Orange Line Shuttle in the winter. Unit also comes with a ski locker

located right outside the front door so you dont have to store your gear

inside the condo. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek

Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna,

full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Approx 1200

Sq. Ft. Living Area: Kitchen with bar counter, dining area, queen sleeper sofa

(TV/VCR/DVD), fireplace, and deck. Master Bedroom: Queen bed (Flat Screen TV)

with bath off hallway. Loft: 1 Queen Bed + 1 Twin Bed. Maximum Occupancy: 6

Cozy atmosphere conveniently located

Had a lovely Labor Day weekend with my husband and our two kids. The location was great, easy to hop in the car and scoot up to the lakes & also close enough that we could walk to the village.We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the loft area bathroom was.Parking was a breeze

Memorial Get Away

This condo was the perfect size for the four of us. Liked the very open concept of kitchen to living area. Kitchen was well stocked with everything, although we could have used an ice cream scoop and a small spatula. Location of condo is away from town which we prefer. Be sure to check out Gogira (Japanese) restaurant, delish!

Cozy lodge with a Few Needed Upgrades in a Great Location

We had six guests staying in the lodge and while there was enough sleeping arrangements for all guests, the sleeping situation was not ideal. The bedroom and the queen and twin loft upstairs were fine, but the pull out couch was very outdated and uncomfortable. The mattress was very worn down with no mattress topper provided and some of the springs were loose - we had to put the mattress on the floor in order to sleep 2 people on it. There were plenty of pillows and blankets, but the “comforters” or heavy blankets need to be updated for better comfort. The lodge itself was very clean and had everything we needed with the kitchen and bathrooms, and the fireplace was cozy. The amenity center was nice for an evening in and the location was perfect for restaurants, bars, and hikes. We would stay in a similar lodge next time but would not be relying on the pullout couch for any means of sleeping adults.

Great looking condo!!

Property was missing towels for the entire group, it only came with 5 for a 6 person condo. When checking in the person in the office was very rude and pretty much send me to my email to read how to get your keys. Instead of just taken the 20 seconds to verbally explain on how to. Besides that it was awesome!!

Nice getaway!!

Stayed there in Aug for 3 nights. Overall great stay. Wasn't sure how the condo would be with what's going on with Covid, but mgmt company has precautions in place like extra sheets and towels in plastic wrapping in the condo. Comfy couch and beds. Good for family of 4. Parking is outside. Easy to get to town. I would stay there again!

Spacious & Great Rental

Really easy to pick up the keys from the rental office. Condo has a big family room which is great to just relax. Everything was cleaned, came supplied with usual toiletries like soap, shampoo, etc. Condo is about 3-4 min drive from either Canyon or Eagle lodge. They do have a shuttle stop right outside the Discovery complex but its like every 30 mins on the orange line. Walking would be rough, I suggest just driving and parking if possible.

Cozy, well-equipped condo close to Canyon Lodge

This place was very cute! The kitchen was well-equipped and had been remodeled. It does sleep 6 but it's pretty tight - in fact, the dining table only seats 4 and there were no extra chairs (there is a kitchen counter with stools, which became the "adult table". Very clean, sufficient towels, toiletries and kitchen cleaners provided by the rental company. We didn't like that there was no place to hang or store skis/boards etc. - the closets that could have accommodated them were locked, and we ended up having to bring our gear inside. It's a slightly longer way from Canyon than other places we've stayed, not really a walk unless you're a snowboarder and can deal with a 10-minute trek each way. All in all, though, it was a decent place to stay for the week!

We were very pleased with this Vacation Rental

This is by far the best Vacation Rental Experience we have had in the Mammoth Area.The unit comes completely furnished including all the cooking utensils one could want.Unit was extremely well maintained and clean.Thanks for a very enjoyable stay.

Great vacation rental!

I have rented many places in Mammoth over the years and this one comes in as one of the best. It's clean, close to everything, quite and best of all affordable. The propert management company was a breeze to deal with. This will be my first choice in future rentals from here on out!

Discovery 4 condo review

All in all it was a good experience. The condo was clean and very well equipped. We also really like the location. The only thing I didn't like was having to drive to Meridian to pick up and drop off the keys. I would prefer to have been able to do that at the condo office on the property.

Comfortable place

The unit itself is lovely with a loft ( a single bed and a queen ) and a main floor another queen bed. The main floor room is small and feels a little cramp but then again we weren't gonna stay in bed while here ! This unit's furnishing is lovely , it even has a shelf for board games and books ! The othello game is missing some pieces though just so you know . Stayed in this unit once in February and another in March . During the first visit the unit was **** span clean . Second visit wasn't so clean - pieces of toilet paper on the floor - something the cleaning crew left perhaps ? And some kitchen utensils were dirty with food stain unwashed . We had pretty good experience in this unit with the furnishing / location etc , it's definitely newer than some places we stayed at around mammoth . Only thing I really did not like was though there were no smoking signs around the apt areas , other visitors in other units still does that infront of the walkway unfortunately and the smoke smell does get into the unit .

Presidents Day Weekend in Mammoth

Perfect condo, very well-maintained, clean and cosy. Great location - just 1 minute walk to the bus stop. Mammoth was very crowded on this weekend, but we could always find two parking spots in front of the complex.

Beautiful condo

The condo was newly renovated and very clean inside. However it had a couple of dangerous things. The sink in the bedroom has an outlet over it that is not GFCI and lead to a Strong shock if used. In addition, the changing room area entrance in the pool area gets very icy. My daughter fell and hit her head pretty hard and another woman in the jacuzzi said she had done the same thing earlier.

So much potential

The unit was close to everything (short drive to the village and restaurants) and was also very well equipped. It had books and board games and lots of things to keep the kids entertained( (like working wifi). The kitchen was well stocked and had everything our family of 6 needed. The only issues we had which hampered our stay was the sheets and bedding we're dirty and had obviously not been washed between tenants- even the spares in the closets were dirty and stained. There was also small spider a so we informed management that the unit need a fumigation. With clean sheets and fumigated I would stay there again!

Discovery 4 condo

108 is a comfortable, spacious condo for a family of four or more. It is well appointed and up to date. Discovery 4 is a great place to stay in the winter. This was our second New Year's Eve stay. Being close to Canyon lodge is a plus.

Great condo

Good location for the price. Everything was good and nice place to stay. My only gripe would be the 10:00am check out time.
